Inside Praxis
Roots
Fashion has always been a part of my life. My grandparents own a clothing shop in Bermuda, so I’ve been around clothes since I was a kid. Growing up, I always had my own opinions on style and what looked good, so starting this brand feels like a natural extension of my upbringing.
The Beginning
At the time, I felt like my old interests were slipping away, and I needed something to get my creativity going again. Praxis became that outlet a space to express myself and make things that felt true to me. Bermuda and the UK played a big role in shaping my style, so naturally the brand picked up both influences. It started as a personal project, but it also became a way to show what a place like Bermuda can add to culture through clothing, design, and the wider creative world.
Influence and inspiration
The brand itself is really a mix of all the cultures that have influenced me. There’s Bermuda, of course, where I was born and raised. Then there’s the UK—when I was 13, I moved to England for boarding school, and that’s where I got into the fashion scene here. Altogether, it’s a blend of Bermudian roots, UK experiences.
