About

My upbringing
Fashion has always been a part of my life. My grandparents owned a clothing shop back home in Bermuda, so I’ve been around clothes since I was a kid. Growing up, I always had my own opinions on style and what looked good, so starting this brand feels like a natural extension of my upbringing.

Why I started Praxis
I started this brand during Covid, when, like everyone else, I was stuck at home. A few friends and I spent a lot of time ordering clothes, chatting about them, and just browsing through different brands, looking for things we liked. After a while, I thought, instead of spending all this money on other brands, why not create something of my own? Something that reflected my style, and that my friends and I could wear with pride.

Influence and inspiration
The brand itself is really a mix of all the cultures that have influenced me. There’s Bermuda, of course, where I was born and raised. Then there’s the UK—when I was 13, I moved to England for boarding school, and that’s where I got into the fashion scene here. And finally, there’s the US, where a lot of my inspiration comes from—especially the creatives and musicians. Altogether, it’s a blend of Bermudian roots, UK experiences, and US influence.
